A trio of Lady Vols advanced to the semifinals in their respective events, and two other former UT standouts were in action Friday at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

The Lady Vol track & field program increased its total of Capital One Academic All-America honors to 13 Thursday, as the 2012 Capital One Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-America Team.

UT track & field athletes will be in action at various Olympic Trials competitions, trying to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Two future Lady Vols produced top-five finishes on the final day of the USA Junior Track & Field Championships.

Future Lady Vol Felicia Brown and Vol Freshman Michael Williams were in action at the USA Junior Championships this afternoon.
