Sarah Schmitt, a junior at Tennessee, cleared a lifetime-best 13-10 (4.22m) on her first attempt to tie for second place with Marin Chamberlin of host Arkansas at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
