Jordan West, a junior at Tennessee, became the first men's shot put champion for the Volunteers since 1983 with a 66-6.50 (20.28m) effort in the fifth round at the Southeastern Conference Championships at Ole Miss Track and Field Complex in Oxford, Mississippi.
